"Pretty easy to find what I needed"
I’ve only used the site a handful of times, so I can’t speak for everything, but so far it’s been easy to get around. Searching for books worked fine for me, and checkout was straightforward. A couple pages seemed to load a little slowly, though I’m not sure if that was the site or my connection. Overall, no major complaints.

The book was listed as very good, it really was. I checked the corners, the spine, even flipped through for marks or weird page bends, and everything looked just about right. No surprises, which I always appreciate

"Good deal on used books"
I ordered a couple of used books and just assumed the shipping would be annoying, because that’s usually my shortcut for judging online orders. But the delivery cost was cheaper than I expected, and there weren’t any random extra fees popping up at checkout. The books showed up in good shape, so overall I’m happy with it.

"I ordered a few used paperbacks…"
I ordered a few used paperbacks and, i was pleasantly surprised when they arrived because they were in better shape than I was expecting for the price. I know buying used books can be a bit hit or miss sometimes, so I was prepared for them to look a little more worn, but overall they looked really good. One of them had a small crease on the cover, which didn’t bother me much at all, and the pages inside were clean with no writing, stains, or anything strange like that. Also, no weird old-book smell, which I definitely appreciated. For what I paid, I feel like it was a great deal, and I’d be totally fine ordering from them again

"Great for finding random older books"
I’ve ordered from betterworldbooks a few times now, the main thing I keep coming back for is that they somehow have the random books I’m looking for. Like, even older titles I couldn’t find anywhere else were just... there. Prices have been fair too, which definitely helps. The site is easy enough to use, nothing complicated, and my orders have all shown up without any issues. So yeah, overall I’m really happy with them.

The books were really cheap and definitely a great value, so I was happy with what I got for the price. That said, the whole experience felt a little impersonal, like I was kind of ignored after placing my order. Still, if you’re mainly looking for affordable books, it’s a solid option.

The tracking was decent enough, and overall I’ve found them dependable. I’d definitely order from them again

"Everything I ordered showed up right"
I ordered three used books, and they were all the exact ones I picked out. Same titles, the editions looked like what was listed, and the condition was mostly accurate too. One of them had a little more wear than I expected, but with used books, that’s not a huge deal if the listing is close. Shipping wasn’t super fast, but the order itself was correct, so I’m happy with it

"Good books, good cause"
I’ve ordered from Better World Books a few times, and honestly... I like that it feels a bit less wasteful than always buying brand new. I ordered a book on amazon; by dewey lambdin (king's trade), and paid for it. but better world books has today reneged on that order. in my opinion bwb will need to tell me as soon as they have another copy in stock; and offer it at the same price they accepted for my offer on amazon; i.e. £1.12.
